IRAIYANBU ILLAM I
IRAIYANBU ILLAM is the sweet home of CHELLIAHS, in a posh residential area, Secretariat Colony, at the banks of the serene Retteri, Kolathur of the Chennai City. Here, the elderly CHELLIHS provide safe and comfortable residence to the elders on the basis of rental agreement. Parents of the NRIs who, find difficult to live alone in their homes are given preference by the CHELLIAHS who themselves were once NRIs. Elders coming from various family backgrounds live here in single or shared room, in an atmosphere of peace, that surpasses all our understanding. As the Tamil word IRAIYANBU denotes, the Love of God is bestowed upon the CHELLIAHS and every member of this family takes personal care with empathy.

FEATURES
Whenever we stay outside of our relations and friends we give preference for safety and security on one side and facilities on the other side. The Secretariat Colony of Retteri – Kolathur, a posh and beautiful colony, situated very near to Perambur Railway station and Koyambedu Bus stand offers facilities of the Chennai City in a pleasant and peaceful environment of a natural lake called Retteri. The IRAIYANBU ILLAM is at the bank of Retteri, in a building of architectural excellence owned by the family of Chelliahs. It is being monitored round the clock by CCTV cameras, with an eye on security. It is true our loving parents may not ask for the love they have given us. Nevertheless, it is our duty to share our love and protect our parents when they are alone. Our IRAIYANBU ILLAM is filled with this spirit of LOVE – the most valuable gift of God and here we serve your parents as our own.

Gershom Chelliah
(FOUNDER & PRESIDENT)
The Founder of THE TRUST OF CHELLIAHS that takes care of the residents is Gershom Chelliah. Once an NRI and now a free lance Evangelist for the Christian community and a long standing President in a secular society, he offers his free service round the clock.
Lydia Chelliah
(TREASURER)

Lydia Yesodha Chelliah is the back bone of the IRAIYANBU ILLAM and the Treasurer of The Trust of Chelliahs. She had served in the grade of a Senior Nursing Officer for the Ministry of Health in the Kingdom of Bahrain, for 35 long years and came home to serve the elders free of cost.

Holder of three first class PG degrees from the University of Madras, this day scholar Jeremy Paul Chelliah serves all mothers as his own and serves the society as serving God Almighty.
